Artist Personal Website

Project Overview

A personal tribute website dedicated to Shani Indira, a former member of JKT48. It showcases her decade-long career journey, photo galleries, and memorable milestones as an appreciation for her dedication to the entertainment industry. Built with Next.js, TailwindCSS, and Swiper.js to deliver an interactive, responsive, and seamless visitor experience.

Key Features

• Interactive Career Timeline: Chronological interactive milestones tracing her discography, theater setlists, and leadership era from 2014 to 2024.
• High-Performance Media Gallery: Fluid touch-enabled photo carousel powered by Swiper.js with responsive image optimization and modal zoom previews.
• Curated Video Archive: Embedded video showcase highlighting graduation concert stages, documentary snippets, and memorable public interviews.
• Community Message Board: Interactive tribute wall allowing fans and visitors to leave personalized heartfelt appreciation notes.

Engineering Challenges & Solutions

• Heavy Media Asset Optimization: Implemented Next.js priority loading, blur placeholders, and WebP compression to maintain sub-second load times despite high-resolution photo archives.
• 60fps Touch Gestures on Mobile: Optimized Swiper.js hardware acceleration and Zustand state management to prevent touch stuttering across low-end mobile browsers.
